Fifty Shades Greener Programme

The Slieve Russell Hotel affiliated itself with the Fifty Shades Greener programme in 2021. This programme was a framework that guided us through the processes to “Green our Business” and measure our impact on the environment. It offered consultancy, education and certification.

By following the programme and excelling in our efforts we were awarded a Gold Level Award in 2022, 2023 and 2024. We continue to work with this programme through 2025.

We have greatly reduced our carbon footprint since commencing this programme; however, towards the end of 2024 we saw this start to increase marginally and are working as a team to identify the increases.

We have embraced our local community and created friendships and affiliations to last a lifetime.

We value our team and work tirelessly to ensure they feel valued and respected.
