Gareth Raflewski, the Canada-based Irish native who has worked with over 65 of the game’s best players across the LPGA and PGA Tours from Major Winners to World No 1’s has opened his Academy in Europe with a state-of-the-art studio at Slieve Russell which will be led by PGA National’s Head Professional, Gordon Smyth.
Meet Gordon Smyth
Gordon Smyth PGA heads the European base of Raflewski Golf at PGA National Ireland–Slieve Russell. A ‘Class AA’ PGA Professional with over 20 years of experience, he is renowned as one of the world’s leading putting coaches. Serving as Head PGA Professional at PGA National Ireland–Slieve Russell, Gordon coaches on the LPGA and HotelPlanner Tours while guiding some of Ireland’s top Professional and Amateur players. His distinguished clientele features former World No. 1s Jin Young Ko and Ariya Jutanugarn, major champion Patty Tavatanakit, and rising star Ruoning Yin, among others.
The Raflewski European Academy is a cutting-edge, technology-powered facility, featuring elite tools such as the Foresight Sports GC Quad for precise ball-roll analysis, SAM Putt Lab for in-depth stroke diagnostics, Vertex and Capto 3D Putting systems for real-time club data, Swing Catalyst for advanced camera feedback, and a bespoke Wellputt indoor green for flawless practice conditions.
From this state-of-the-art studio, players effortlessly move to expansive on-site practice facilities, honing their skills with focused drills and repetitions before translating improvements directly onto the championship course.
